PPE 100
-
Exploring the challenge of 'Future-Proofing' yourself in the age of uncertainty.
introduction
PPE100 is our foundation thinking course for the twenty-first century. Built around five interconnected themes—overconsumption, novelty, love, AI, and uncertainty—students learn to read deeply, ask better questions, and turn reflection into action. Each theme speaks to real choices young people face today: how to spend, what to pay attention to, whom to trust and commit to, how to use technology without being used by it, and how to make decisions when the future is uncertain. PPE100 helps students move beyond test-taking and develop the habits of mind they will need for university and for life.

Three Modules
To meet the different needs of students and families, our programs are organized into three learning modules: Community, Associate Scholar, and Master Scholar. All modules share the same core curriculum, while the level of learning support, interaction with instructors, and degree of personalized guidance increase step by step. You can choose the module that best matches your child’s current stage, budget, and goals—and upgrade later when they are ready for more intensive support.
Module 1:Master Scholar
Master Scholar is our most intensive module for overseas students. It includes everything in the program plus detailed writing feedback, live TA feedback, and two TA hours per week, with an added online presentation component. For students who meet prerequisites and have completed three PPE classes, it provides the closest academic support and the strongest structure for building critical thinking and academic writing.
Module 2:Associate Scholar
Associate Scholar is our guided-practice module for overseas students who already meet the entry requirements (including IELTS 6.0). Along with full access to all course videos, PDFs, quizzes, and writing assignments, you receive direct writing feedback and one hour of TA support per week—so your questions are answered in time and your drafts improve with clear, actionable direction. It’s the ideal middle step for students who want more structure and accountability than Community, while building the habits and confidence needed for higher-level academic work.
Module 3:Community
Community is our foundation Module, ideal for students and parents who want to enter the program with a lower barrier. You receive access to the full course content plus essential study guidance, so students can first get used to the pace and way of thinking before deciding whether they need deeper practice and support.
